Welcome Reception at Medieval Fortress of Angers,

Logistics: The fortress is located in the medieval town nearby the tourist office, 5 mn walk from the station and from hotels. Arrivals between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm. End at 9.00 pm.
A Welcome reception will be held at the fortress on Sunday, August 29, 2010 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Please join us for a guided visit (in English and French) of the famous Apocalypse tapestry followed by a cocktail in the french gardens and medieval chapel.
The medieval fortress of ANGERS is the unique fortress of the Loire Valley! Enter into a vast fortress lying in the heart of Angers, a town of art and history. Marvel at the elegant buildings and gardens of the castle where the Dukes of Anjou held court and admire the largest known medieval tapestry: the Apocalypse tapestry!
